How do you save pictures and wallpapers on the Internet onto an iPod touch 2nd generation?

Wanted to save some wallpapers to my pictures on my iPod

When you are viewing the picture, just hold your finger on the picture for a few seconds and a thing will come up at the bottom asking if you would like to save the picture.
