On my itouch I want a picture behind my menu not when I slide it to unlock it. Does anyone know how? I’ve been looking forever on the internet and the only thing I can find is how to put a video instead of a picture.
Follow these simple steps->>>>
1. To jailbreak your iPod, you will need to have version 1.1.1. If you have 1.1.2, you will need to downgrade. To downgrade you need to go to the following website, and download the software for free. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=V7H8X2QQ
2. Once you have downloaded this software successfully, you will then need to go into iTunes (version 7.5) and plug in your iPod touch. DO NOT LET YOUR IPOD TOUCH SYNC. When you have plugged in your iPod touch and iTunes has recognized it, click CHECK FOR UPDATES MEANWHILE HOLDING SHIFT. Find the file you just downloaded and open it. Then, let iTunes do its thing and bingo. You will know that you have done it correctly, if when you unplug, and replug your iPod into iTunes, it says Version 1.1.1.
3. Once you have downgraded, you will need to sync your iPod touch, to update your iPod with the 1.1.1 version.
4. Once you have sync your iPod touch, you will need to go to the following website ON YOUR IPOD TOUCH and scroll to the bottom of the page and click INSTALL APPSNAPP. Your iPod touch will go back to the home screen and say Downloading followed by the particular percent it has downloaded.
5. Once it has downloaded, and restarted itself, you must go to the home screen and click on the new icon that has now appeared, called Installer.
6. Once in the INSTALLER program go to the bottom of the screen and go into the catagory called INSTALL.
7. Once in this category, go into ALL PACKAGES.
8. Once in this category, scroll down the thousands of applications to C and install the application CUSTOMIZE.
9. When installed go back to the homepage within the installer and go back into INSTALL. Go through ALL PACKAGES once again and download SUMMERBOARD.
10. Once installed go back to your INSTALL home page and scroll down to Themes (summerboard) and download Louie Mantia ALT COLORS. This particular theme, will make your wallpaper, your home screen. Feel free to download any of the other themes and experiment with your favorite ones. Some even come with different home screen Icons.
11. You can also download anything from the THEMES (customize) list, to use with your new CUSTOMIZE program.
12. After you have downloaded these few things, go back to your home screen and when its says SLIDE TO UNLOCK, do so and then go into your new application called SMBPrefs and go in to themes and click Louie Mantia ALT COLOURS. this will then change your homescreen background to your wallpaper of choice.
13. In customize, you can change almost every other aspect of your iPod touch, other then the Springboard. Just download the applications from THEMES (customize) and then change it to the particular preferences that comes with the package you download.
