How do I resize pictures without cropping them or changing resolution?

I edited a bunch of wedding pictures in Photoshop. The pictures are all various sizes. When I went to order them, Snapfish automatically cropped many of my pictures from the center because they were too big.

How to I resize my pictures so they are smaller and won’t be cropped when I order a 4×6 print? I spent so much time on these pictures!

Scale or Format.

The resolution may have been too big. I think you need them to be 72dpi, so at full size, other programs won’t crop them unexpectedly. A lot of camera pics are really big with a dpi of 300. In Photoshop check the image size and make sure that the pics are 72
