(the picture of gaga that says follow you until you love me)
do it easily with Microsoft Paint itself (Accessory in windows), then later you can move on to some more advanced graphic editor like Paint.NET, the GIMP or even photoshop ..
- Open paint twice (2 different windows)
- in one Paint window, open the background image
- in the other, use the "Text" tool (the big A icon) to write your text .. don’t forget to make it big
- in the window with the text, select all (menu: Edit->Select All) then copy (menu: Edit->Copy) .. the background is white by default, leave it for now, you’ll play with it later
- in the window with the background, paste (menu: Edit->Paste) .. HERE IS THE TRICK : before you deselect the text you just pasted, change the paste tool mode to allow transparency (there are two icons below the toolbox showing whether to paste with or without transparency, select the lower one) .. do not deselect yet, ensure that the background color selected in the palette is the same as the background of your text (that was white, if you didn’t touch it then they’re all adjusted already)
- not you can deselect (by simply chosing any other tool)
- that’s all .. save your image and enjoy !
I am afraid your question does not have enough information for me to answer. Please name the photo editor you are using so I can give you the steps.
