It depends on a lot of factors including the "relevancy" of the picture (is it a picture that is of a current topic), the date of the picture, the quality of the picture, the type of picture, etc. It also depends on who the picture is about and also the outlet you are trying to market the picture to (CBS, ABC, Newsweek, Time, etc). It depends on a lot! BUT – some pictures can command thousands of dollars and rumor has it, occasionally millions. But that is often accompanied with a good story and not just a picture.

Go to your Facebook Page. Click "Pictures" and then look at the icon between the name of the album and how many photos are in that album it’ll have an icon. Click the icon and you have choices – Public, Friends, Only Me, or Custom. Click Public. There you go! Do this to all the albums you have / all the albums you what the public to see. Or you can go to Privacy Settings, but I like doing it my way!

hey i was having the same problem for a while. now i know how.
1. log in to Facebook
2. click on the arrow in the top right next to ‘home’ button.
3. privacy settings
4. click on ‘custom’ under the heading ‘control your default privacy’.
5. friends of friends
